Peterborough Opera
Producer/Director required
Peterborough Opera are seeking applications for a producer/director for their next production early November 2012.
The production will be a double bill of two contrasting operas:
Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, to be performed for three nights, 8th – 10th November Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with no matinee.
Venue will be the Corn Exchange Theatre in Stamford.
Rehearsals take place at St Luke’s Church, Mayor’s Walk, Peterborough on Fridays 7.30pm – 10pm for full company and usually on Wednesdays/Sundays for principals, though given early notice this could be negotiable. Floor rehearsals begin in July.
The Musical Director is Marc Murray, the present Director of Music at St Botolph’s Church, Boston.
